Size and degree of insulation of the dwelling
The system’s power must be calibrated for the size and characteristics of the surface area to heat, so as to ensure the necessary warmth for the dwelling. The level of insulation of the building is moreover an important element to bear in mind. Here is a table-guide to some possible Jolly-Mec solutions, calculated according to the age of the building and its size.

New fireplace, stove or insert
If you already have a flue-shaft you can install a fireplace for insertion; otherwise, you can choose between a heating fireplace or a heating stove.

They are installed on a wall or in a corner, in any room where there is a flue pipe, with standard cladding or custom-made to measure.

These products are already finished and are ideal to be installed where there is less available space than that needed to accommodate a heating fireplace, where there is a flue. Installation is faster and requires no masonry work.

These are compact, one-piece units for insertion in existing flue-shafts. Installation is extremely easy, fast and cost-effective.

Water or air heating
Different solutions depending on your needs, all capable of integrating perfectly with your existing system while improving its efficiency.

Water heating Water heating
Uniform heating in every room
With a water heating fireplace or stove you heat the entire dwelling, even on more than one floor (up to 330 m2), and generate domestic hot water for all the family, as with a normal gas boiler. They can be integrated in an existing heating system, with radiators or at low temperature and connected in parallel also with other sources of heat such as storage heaters, solar panels and other boilers.

How does it work?
The heating fireplace or heating stove is connected to the new or existing heating system and heats the entiredwelling independently, including the domestic hot water.

Air heating Air heating
Immediate heat
An air heating system allows the entire dwelling to benheated thanks to ducting which does not require masonry work. The air heating system has the advantage of being able to quickly heat the rooms in which the
air is ducted and it is therefore ideal for second homes and homes without radiators. The ducted air can also integrate a boiler plumbing system, contributing to the heating and reducing the costs of the gas. In addition, it assures the freedom to heat when the main system is off, such as in spring or autumn and at night. Accessorized with a boiler hood, it also ensures free domestic hot water without increasing fuel consumption, with the possibility of electric operation when the fire is out.
The air heating fireplaces are equipped with an exclusive built-in humidifier, extra attention to make the air in your home healthy and prevent the physiological problems associated with dry air such as throat ache, allergies, etc.

How does it work?
The hot air generated by the heating fireplace or heating stove is conveyed by a fan into ducts that reach each room and are made simply, quickly and economically.

What fuel
The choice of fuel affects not only the savings, but also the method of using and managing the heating fireplace.
Wood
Wood
Wood is nowadays definitely the most widely used renewable energy source available and the one with the lowest cost for the same heat production.
Firewood heating is therefore the most cost-effective choice.

Pellet
Pellet
Pellets are fuel obtained from dried sawdust compressed into the form of tiny cylinders, without the addition of any additives or other chemical substances. A natural fuel and high-efficiency renewable energy source, pellets have a heating power that, for the same volume, is approximately twice that of firewood. Pellets burn completely, leaving minimal residual ash that can be used as a fertilizer. They are marketed in handy bags of 10/15 kg or loose with a specific truck distribution service. Thanks to the reduced size of their elements, pellets can be managed as a liquid and stored in containers of even considerable, very large, dimensions, located in the most convenient room ensuring a high level of independence.

Gas
Gas
This is extremely convenient because the supply is continuous, but its cost is higher. In addition, gas is not a renewable resource.

Combined supply
The Jolly-Mec innovation of combined supply is a true revolution in the sector: wood, which offers low running costs, is combined with pellets or gas (natural gas or LPG), eliminating the problem of having to feed the firebox continually.

Wood and gas
Wood+gas: convenience and savings
The savings of wood are combined with the convenience of gas: savings while ensuring the independence of a constant feed system. Switching from one fuel to another is governed by an electronic control unit that activates the gas as soon as the wood has been used up.

Alimentazione combinata legna e pellet
Wood+pellets: the perfect combination of savings and autonomy
Wood is combined with pellets, eliminating the problem of having to feed the firebox continually. Jolly-Mec combined systems ensure a continuous flame because they can pass automatically from one fuel to the other and keep on heating according to the settings. Management is by an electronic control unit and does not require the user to be at home.

Benefits of wood/pellets:
LONG BURN TIME
Wood/pellet products are equipped with a highcapacity standard tank, that, for a longer burn time, can be combined with a second container of a greater capacity, located even in another room (up to 20 m away and 6 m in height) with a pneumatic or screw conveyor.

VARIOUS POWERS
Pellet operation automatically controls the potential of the burner via the electronic control unit according to the required temperature.

REDUCED MAINTENANCE
Operation with pellets does not require daily cleaning, but only removal of the ashes and checking the burnpot every 8-15 days.

AUTOMATIC LIGHTING
Ignition is automatic and can be set even on a weekly basis with the electronic control unit.
