| The heating stove with three functions |
Caldea is a Combined continuous flame heating stove using two economical and renewable fuels: wood and pellets. It is a real high-efficiency heating system with controlled and prolonged combustion that heats an entire home of up to 300 m2, without having to be combined with other heat sources, using the preferred fuel and safeguarding the environment.
Using wood offers a saving of 60% (*) on the cost of the fuel and the appeal of the fire; with pellets the comfort of automatic operation, like a normal boiler, is assured. It also produces domestic hot water for all the family. Operation with pellets does not require daily cleaning, but only removal of the ashes and checking the burnpot every 8-15 days.
A winning combination that completely replaces the boiler but can also work in parallel with other heat sources (solar panels, thermal cells, other boilers) and be included in any existing systems, with radiators, floor system, etc. It is immediately ready for installation and supplied with all the plumbing kit with closed vessel already assembled and tested and with two cooling exchangers (compulsory) that ensure operation even in case of a power failure. Operation is managed by a sophisticated and very easy to programm electronic controller which automatically controls switching from wood to pellets when the wood has stopped burning, thus enabling the required temperature to be maintained.

It is equipped with CaldoControl, an exclusive automatic combustion control device that regulates wood consumption according to heat requirements. This increases the burn time of the stove which can operate with just 3 big loads a day. It is also equipped with an oven in hand-worked terracotta, which also works electrically with the stove off (except the Caldaia model).
Caldea wood/pellet comes in the versions: Base, Lusso, Caldaia. The Base and Lusso versions are available with a wide choice of claddings; the Caldaia model only comes with painted steel cladding. A unique, cutting-edge smart technological product that is safe, approved and certified.

- Combustion chamber
Heat exchanger in special steel with shaped double wall, treated internally, insulated with rock wool, whose particular construction is designed to last and for fully exploiting the heat produced by combustion, obtaining high efficiencies.
- Corrugated exchange surface
The patented design of the inner surface triples exposure to the fire and therefore increases efficiency.
- Supplied complete
It comes complete with: plumbing kit with closed vessel already assembled and tested, with 2 cooling exchangers (compulsory, that ensure operation even in case of a power failure), control panel with electronic controller and various devices, CaldoControl device (which regulates wood combustion according to the temperature), pellet burner with loading from below, 46 kg pellet hopper, terracotta oven, door with ceramic glass, ash pan.
- Automatic eletronic controller
Multilingual automatic controller, with chronothermostat, able to manage automatic switching from wood to pellets and as many as 50 weekly settings for custom warmth at any time. The controller also manages other heat sources and pneumatic conveyance of the pellets from an additional container located in another room (up to a distance of 28 metres, h 8 metres).
- Caldo Control
Caldea wood/pellet models are equipped with CaldoControl, an exclusive automatic combustion control device that regulates wood consumption according to heat requirements.
- Plumbing Kit
With or without domestic hot water production, with closed vessel and two cooling exchangers (compulsory). The kit is assembled and tested, complete with safety valves, heating pump, diverter valve, plate-type exchanger for domestic hot water pump, expansion tank (closed), filling unit and valves.

You can decide on enjoying the appeal and savings of the wood fire, or the comfort of pellets. Caldaia enables heating with wood when the pellets are finished, or vice versa, automatically managing switching from wood to pellets when the wood finishes.
